Welcome to our 55th Season!

Dear Friends,

It is a great thrill to finally share all the offerings of our Season 55 with you!

We have been around, performing exciting and innovative programs without any interruptions in our seasons for over five decades. You will see that we have a spectacular season ready for our 55th year! From Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony to a new work by composer Pablo Ortiz. From Respighi’s beautiful Church Windows to Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Suite and Richard Strauss powerful and imaginative Don Quixote featuring Susan Lamb Cook

We will welcome the principal viola of the San Francisco Symphony, Jonathan Vinocour, as our soloist for Walton’s breathtaking Viola Concerto. I am personally delighted to welcome a wonderful colleague, Maestro Michael Morgan, as our guest conductor for Mozart’s Requiem at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament!

We work very hard to bring you top quality performances, and to make our orchestra as accessible as possible, with low ticket prices. When you buy a subscription, you are receiving a big discount over the single ticket price. Please become a subscriber today (click here) and help us as we continue to bring vibrant and exciting performances of traditional and innovative repertoire to the Sacramento region.

We would not be here without your support, as the only orchestra in Sacramento that has been performing uninterrupted seasons for the last 55 years. Consider making a donation to the Camellia Symphony today, and help us enrich the cultural life of our region for at least 55 more!

With all best wishes,

Christian Baldini, Ph.D.
