Camellia Juniors Orchestra
Camellia Juniors and Camellia Cadets Orchestras:
Youth orchestras for high school and middle school string students
Camellia Symphony Orchestra (CSO) has 2 student orchestras: Camellia Juniors Orchestra (CJO) for grades 9-12 and Junior Cadets (CJC) for grades 6-8. This program is for string students who want to play in an orchestra and either are not offered the opportunity at their school or wish to expand their musical opportunities.
General Program Information:
The season runs from September through May.
If there is an orchestra at your school, you will need to be a participant or make arrangements with the teacher. This will be verified.
There will be 3-to-4 regular performances plus other community performances as opportunities arise.
Rehearsals are at Sutter Middle School from 7:00-8:30pm. CJO rehearses are on Wednesday and CJC on Thursday.
To help cover the cost, we ask each member for a chair sponsorship of $250.
The sponsorship entitles the sponsor to 2 season passes to the Camellia Symphony concerts.![]()
CJO & CJC members attend Symphony concerts for free.
